This is the second greatest hiding place in our house after the garbage can.
Anything they can fit in the tiny hole at the top, gets put in.
Such as toothpaste
Or the toilet roll holder.
Or all of these things.
spoon, finger puppet, lid, links, and two balls that don't belong.
Or this little garbage bag dispenser.
And sometimes things just don't quite fit no matter how hard they try.
Never a dull moment.
This "hidden" toy space is hilarious. Vanessa tells a story of a friend who misplaced her wedding ring. She had looked and looked and was surprised that she didn't find it. After several days of searching she started to wonder if maybe her toddler "hid" it in he garbage, which had been taken away with all the trash a couple of days earlier. She devised a plan to confirm that idea by experimenting a bit. She put another ring out on the table and soon found her toddler taking it to the garbage. :-(
