{They definitely have some Dorius genes. Tall, skinny, and tiny heads! Oh and the fact that they are spitting images of their grandpa and my uncles.}
{And in true toddler fashion, it is nearly impossible to get them to even look at the camera these days. I guess that just means I need to pull it out more!}

I'm thrilled and devastated all at the same time.
I love their keen sense of humors, how quickly they learn, how I can give them simple instructions and they can follow, and how plain adorable they are, but at the same time it's really sinking in that they aren't babies anymore.
They aren't chubby-cheeked, happy to stay in one spot, swaddle-me-up babies. They are toddlers with little attitudes, opinions, tantrums, and curiosity. Why does time have to pass so fast?
With that being said, as per usual, this is my favorite stage so far! haha.
And as I always say, I just want them to stay like this forever.

Honestly, why is it so hard to smile for the camera?! These two are little turkeys.
Ian
{I know I'm bias, but I think he is so handsome!}

1. Loves talking to grandma on the phone. Or sometimes on dental floss.
2. Loves to run circles around our house. (as does Briggs) Especially with his towel still on his head from his bath!
3. Loves to play in, on, or around the toilet. I'm constantly pulling him out and off of it.
4. Loves putting his blanket on his head and walking around blindly. He also put his blanket on this little airplane one day and pushed it around! I couldn't help but giggle!
5. Still obsessed with climbing furniture and trying to touch all the pictures on the walls.
6. Still loves Elmo (As does Briggs). And poor Elmo gets dragged all over the house.
7. Learned how to cross his fingers.
8. Loves finding his toes while he's in his high chair.
9. Loves giving kisses. He still puckers up from across the room!
10. Thinks it's funny when he pinches his nose and talks.
11. Loves playing "pretend." I've caught him using this little knob like chapstick. He also obviously likes talking on the floss, wearing mom and dad's shoes, etc.
12. Loves to walk backwards.
Briggs
{This kid is so sweet and so darn cute.}
1. Loves puzzles. Especially the part where he gets to pull all the pieces out. He pretty much goes straight for the puzzles every morning.
2. He can match all the colors on the fish puzzle that we have (as can Ian)
3. He likes packing any blanket around with him, including Ian's. Sometimes we do a double take to make sure it is Briggs with the minky blankets.
4. Still loves birds and airplanes and always points them out to us.
5. He is a little OCD. He likes to keep his tray clean and often times puts food he isn't eating in his cup holder.
6. Loves dipping food in yogurt or syrup or any other sauce I will give him.
7. Loves rubbing in lotion or hand sanitizer.
8. Loves to point to each character on the page in the book Blue Hat, Green Hat while I read. I know it's because I would point at each item when I read it to him at first so he could associate the colors. Now I just giggle every time.
9. Loves to climb. And he is so strong! He can often be found hanging from kitchen drawers.
10. Is obsessed with climbing over the couch. {I have since moved this little turtle away from the couch... because I'm a mean, errr I mean a good, mom}
11. He is so good about thinking of Ian. Right now anytime he gets a hold of my phone he will take it to Ian because he knows he likes talking on it.
12. Loves walking with his eyes closed.
Both boys
1. Love to jump (and can get their feet off the ground!)
2. Love eating snacks at the kitchen table.

5. Still love stairs. I don't think they'll ever get bored with stairs.

7. Love helping unload the dishwasher. (In fact they have gotten to be little helpers with a lot of things. They pick up toys, close the refrigerator door, throw things in the garbage, load the washing machine, etc.)
Sometimes they are too helpful and throw away things that aren't garbage. Such as this shirt that was folded up in a knot and looked like a diaper! haha.

9. Love to snuggle. Especially Briggs. He usually will snuggle Ian on command and is so sweet.

11. Love singing songs! (Even though they usually do the actions better than these videos show, you get an idea.)
12. They love Signing Time! They love dancing to the music and Briggs always waves his hands around like he is trying to do the signs with him! I love it. They are pretty darn good with their signs these days. They still know all the ones they've known before plus clean up, shoes, book, read, different, sometimes they'll do mama, and are starting to explode in their learning. Briggs can also do beautiful.
13. They love tuna salad on crackers.
14. They pretty much got a new wardrobe since they are growing out of their 12 month clothes, plus I keep thinking it's going to get a little chilly at some point! haha. And Grandma was nice enough to send them some more clothes when Grandpa came to visit! As soon as it gets out of these 80s, we'll be set!

16. They can both stack three blocks.
17. They both got all their molars in so our tooth count is at 12 a piece.
18. I think their eyes have finally settled on brown. It has been a long road of wondering what color they would end up, but I'm pretty sure the brown is here to stay.
All in all, these kids crack us up! They are such great boys. We have been truly blessed.
