I've decided I have a "twin mom body."
My legs are weaksauce from months of limited exercise, a few weeks of modified bedrest, and more months of just trying to survive twins so obviously no time in the gym.
My belly is still a little squishy from being stretched so far and has a smiley face scar from delivering two healthy babies.
My arms are ripped from carrying two carseats full of chubby babies with rolls anywhere I need to be by myself.
My mind is scattered trying to keep up with times of last feeds, husband's schedule, work life, paying bills, planning meals, and whatever other things pop up.
And my hair is falling out, very well may be covered in puke, or standing on end.
But I have everything to be grateful for with this body of mine.
My legs carry me everywhere I need to be as I chase down my two crawling babies.
My belly carried TWO babies for 36 weeks and that smiley face scar is by far my favorite.
My arms are full of baby and honestly feel empty and lonely when I go anywhere by myself.
My mind keeps plugging along and somehow I'm able to keep two children alive as well as keep our house functioning.
And nice hair is a thing of the past, and that is AOK with me. I would much rather be bald and called mom than have the Rapunzel locks I dreamed of as a child.
I'm just still in awe that a body can transform so dramatically.
from this

In a quick 9 months.
And somehow your body recovers from that trauma. Mine may not ever look like it did before but that's ok. I am one happy mama.
