Eleven Months of Alba

E L E V E N.

1. She is pretty darn good at going upstairs and finally started turning around occasionally to try to go down the stairs instead of just flying down head first. We still have a ways to go, but at least we are seeing some improvement!

2. Her main form of transportation is still crawling but she is starting to walk around the furniture more and more and pushes anything she can find. She will push chairs across the room, boxes, or a wagon filled with one of her brothers.

3. Some new signs she's mastered are "please," "water," and we are working on "treat."

4. She still loves bath time but doesn't love it when I dump water over her head.

5. She's a big fan of food and she is a great eater. She eats real people food like a champ. Plus with less complaining than the bigger kids. She might be my favorite child. She loves pizza and will eat an apple whole if I peel off the skin.

6. Separation anxiety is really setting in and she's a big fan of her mama. She does fine if I'm gone, but if I'm in the room at all she doesn't want anyone else.

7. She blows kisses like a pro, and when she cocks her head to the side when you ask her if she's cute. We about melt.

8. She folds her arms for prayer. I am pretty sure it took our boys until they were 4 to consistently fold their arms. She is just the cutest.

9. She sticks her hand down my shirt while she nurses.

10. She's finally figuring out sippy cups. I was kind of a bad mom and forgot that she needs to learn how to use those because I just nurse her when I'm home, but I remembered a couple of months ago and have been working on some sippy cups. Thankfully now she's able to drink from a couple of different ones!
