I know I'm beyond late on posting about our Christmas, but I simply can't let it fall by the wayside because we had a delightful Christmas.
In fact by the time Christmas rolled around we had finally moved all our stuff from Texas and Jesse was back in town after several weeks of traveling, and if felt like we could finally breathe again. It was heavenly.
So in mostly no particular order....
We made gingerbread houses.
The boys put some serious effort into their houses. They were adorable trying to stick the candies onto the roof and getting them just where they wanted them. Although Briggs enjoyed eating his almost more than decorating it.

{B} was also a big fan of painting his belly! Too funny.
The big boys got in some quality Super Smash Bros time.
And the little boys got in some quality cooking/snacking time.

I'm starting to wonder if {B} is a little kitchen elf. That child loves being in the kitchen and helping with any sort of cooking. He's particular good at licking the spoon and making a mess.
I tried to get the boys to help me decorate a little tree but I couldn't even get all the lights on the tree before the hooligans were causing chaos, so we never made it to the hanging ornaments part.
They were both obsessed with plugging in and unplugging the lights however.

And of course they wanted to touch them all and tell me that they are "hot!"

And then I found the poor tree like this!
And the culprit down the hallway hanging out in his uncle's chair.
Let's just say the little tree never did get fully decorated.
We also went Christmas Caroling with a big group of family and friends.
My mom made the boys these cute hats and scarves and they left them on the entire time! They might have stolen the show once they started dancing on the front steps of some houses.

We opened Christmas Even pajamas, which the boys of course could care less about, but boy did they look adorable.

This hat was the hottest commodity. Both boys were (and continue to be) obsessed with this awesome hat.

Santa made it to Grandpa and Grandma's house!

{I} with two of the biggest scores of Christmas... tic tacs, and an airplane water bottle. Win. Win.

My brother Kadin built this bench in shop and straight up lied to my mom telling her he hadn't finished it yet and it was still at the school in order to surprise her for Christmas. Her reaction was priceless!
Jesse requested a hatchet for Christmas, and was in heaven when that portion of his wishlist came true.
The boys were blessed with several wooden toys like this train, that have become hits at our house.
After gift opening, we enjoyed a traditional sticky bun breakfast.
And then we lazed about for the rest of the day. Just as it should be.
And later that evening we had a big delicious Christmas dinner.

And believe it or not, it only took us 2 pictures (if I remember right) to get this picture. I was pretty impressed to be able to see everyone's faces and have everyone looking at the camera.
The boys really didn't care about the actual opening of gifts, nor did they play with the boxes or wrapping paper. They did in fact like their toys, it was just hard to get to the toys when they didn't care to open the gifts!
All in all, Fabulous Christmas had by all.
