Ok we tried this baby out yesterday and it was HEAVENLY! I'm not quite sure why we hadn't thought of this before but we finally tried this fun little recipe and it was so good that I had to share!
Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Brownies
1 box Betty Crocker Original Supreme brownie mix (with chocolate syrup pouch)
Vegetable oil, water and eggs called for on brownie mix box
1 pouch Betty Crocker chocolate chip cookie mix pouch
butter and egg called for on cookie mix pouch
1 container Betty Crocker Rich & Creamy chocolate frosting
1. Heat oven to 350* F. Grease bottom only of 13 by 9 in. pan. Make brownie batter as directed on box. Spread in pan
2. Make cookie dough as directed on pouch. Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls evenly onto brownie batter; press down lightly.
3. Bake 35-40 minutes or until toothpick inserted 2 inches from side of pan comes out almost clean. Cool completely, about 1 hour. Frost with frosting.
Those are the official directions, but you could use any kind of cookie dough or brownie mix and just plop them together and stick it in the oven and out pops a little taste of heaven!

Yummy! I'm proud of you for starting a blogspot. I think you'll enjoy the history it "makes" you write your history.
ReplyDeleteWeird, I just bought some desert at Albertsons the other day because cakes and brownies and things were on sale and they had this new one that was a brownie/cookie mixture that looked amazing so I bought 2. I made it the night before I read this. It is basically the exact same thing except the cookie and brownie mixes all come together in the same box! I gave most of it to Greg and only ate a little bite but it was good!!!
