Bushel and a Peck

My sweet boys love the Bushel and a Peck song, and sometimes I will hear them trying to sing all the words by themselves. It melts me.
We sing this multiple times a day, so I had to document it.
I apologize for my super loud voice, but just in case I never get around to recording a better version, this will have to work.

Life Is Bipolar With Two Year Old Twins

Some days these children are hilarious and make up funny games together.
I love it.

Other days are more like this.
After all we do have 2 year old twins.
And it is HARD.

Halloween 2015

Jesse chose the Halloween costumes this year and we love how our Calvin and Hobbes turned out!

These turkeys refused to take a nap at a decent time, so Briggs fell asleep around 5pm and Tiger Ian was a grump until we started Trick or Treating, and then he was a huge fan.

We took them around in our wagon and they hopped out at each house, Ian with his bucket, Briggs adamantly refusing his. They would run up to the doors, we would encourage them to say "trick-or-treat" and "thank you" and they were seriously adorable.

Plus it's always fun to have family come visit, especially the kind you can hang on!

Family Pictures with Toddlers

My whole family was at our house over Fall Break and since the ten of us are not always together, we decided to embrace the moment and take some pictures.

It was a good idea for 10 seconds, until we remembered we have two toddlers who are awful at taking pictures.
The actual picture taking was rather frustrating, but looking at those pictures has made me laugh hysterically multiple times.

Although this might be super boring for anyone besides my parents, so I totally don't mind if you skip right over all these pictures.
But not you mom or dad! You must look through them all and laugh until your face hurts like me.

It's like two separate family pictures.
My family with our two crazies...
And the rest of the normal people who know how to stand still and smile.

Literally not one good picture. haha! And I only posted about a fourth of what we took!

And finally we decided to just give up on being normal, and start acting like the boys.

Those were the winners!
I should probably just blow up one of these and put it on my wall.

Once we let the littles run free, pictures weren't so awful.

My dad always asks for his "funeral picture" to be taken when we do any pictures.
I always oblige, so we have a few to choose from, although I told him we might just use this one even if he dies at 100.
Maybe that's morbid, but at least he has a good picture.

And if you don't get a Christmas card from my family... now you know why.
Or maybe just count this and call it good.

"Hunkins"

We went to a little pumpkin patch awhile ago and picked us out some "hunkins" as {I} called it.
In fact we were cracking up on the way to the Pumpkin Patch because {I} kept calling them "hunkins" and {B} would say "No hunkins. Punkins"

Have I mentioned how hard it is to get two year olds to stand together and look at the camera?

They loved running up and down the path in the pumpkin patch and we had fun picking out our pumpkins.

A few days later my family came to town for the weekend so of course it called for pumpkin cookies and painting pumpkins.
{I}

{B} loved painting pumpkins.
He painted for probably a solid 10 minutes while {I} tried to figure out how the dishwasher works and moved it back and forth on the track.

{B} was really into blue.

{I} finally became disenchanted from the dishwasher long enough to see what we were doing and decided he would join in.

Fun had by all
