January
1. Left a chunk of our hearts in Texas and moved back to Utah
2. Jesse traveled about 3 weeks of the month
3. The boys and I spent a good chunk of time in St. George since Jesse was gone
February
1. Jesse was gone a lot this month too
2. We spent a lot of time in St. George again
3. We enjoyed a zoo day with friends during the mild winter
March
1. I went on a girls trip with my inlaw family
2. Jesse traveled some more
3. Briggs and Ian turned 2!
April
1. Danielle got a job at Primary Children's Hospital
2. We celebrated seven years of marriage
3. We got to see Brian Regan in St. George
May
1. I turned a whopping 27
2. I enjoyed any minute I got with my boys between days of work and extra classes at work
3. I ordered and built a couch for our front room.
June
1. My mom stayed with us for a week and we did a whole bunch of projects
2.. My brother got married
3. After my brother's wedding, we left our children in St George for about a week to play with grandpa and grandma.
July
1. My family came up for the 4th of July
2. We kept my parent's dog London for the month
3. Our children somehow kept getting cuter and cuter
August
1. We went on a cruise with Jesse's family
2. The boys spent our cruise week in St. George with my family
3. We ran a 5k
September
1. Mimi and Papa got us a trampoline as compensation for not taking our children on the cruise. (We still think we got the best of both deals.) And looking back through pictures, it looks like we jumped all of September.
2. We took the boys on a train ride
3. We spent labor day working in our yard trying to make it slightly less ugly.
October
1. Jesse was brave and took binkies away from the boys
2. We took a quick weekend trip to California with friends
3. We had family pictures taken and attempted informal family pictures when my family was in town for a weekend
November
1. I realized I've turned into a complete slacker and don't take nearly enough pictures of my children, nor do I blog, or clean my house, or cook. I think we were just doing every day things and trying to get by.
2. Briggs has been very keen on being naked, which sometimes leads to impromptu potty training out of necessity.
2. We did however go on a cruise with the Doriuses
December
1. Jesse traveled some more (even though I didn't mention it all throughout the year, he traveled at least half of it by my calculations)
3. We celebrated Christmas at our house with my family. (I have high hopes to get around to blogging about Christmas and many other things. It's just a slow process these days.)
All in all, it has been a wonderful, exhausting, trying, and happy year.
We feel so blessed to have our little family and can't imagine life without our sweet boys.
