Awesome Recipe!

Ok we tried this baby out yesterday and it was HEAVENLY! I'm not quite sure why we hadn't thought of this before but we finally tried this fun little recipe and it was so good that I had to share!

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Brownies
1 box Betty Crocker Original Supreme brownie mix (with chocolate syrup pouch)
Vegetable oil, water and eggs called for on brownie mix box
1 pouch Betty Crocker chocolate chip cookie mix pouch
butter and egg called for on cookie mix pouch
1 container Betty Crocker Rich & Creamy chocolate frosting

1. Heat oven to 350* F. Grease bottom only of 13 by 9 in. pan. Make brownie batter as directed on box. Spread in pan
2. Make cookie dough as directed on pouch. Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls evenly onto brownie batter; press down lightly.
3. Bake 35-40 minutes or until toothpick inserted 2 inches from side of pan comes out almost clean. Cool completely, about 1 hour. Frost with frosting.

Those are the official directions, but you could use any kind of cookie dough or brownie mix and just plop them together and stick it in the oven and out pops a little taste of heaven!

See a pattern?

I love my husband... but he's rather hard to take pictures with. For some reason he cannot keep his eyes open! I don't know what it is! Here is a small sampling to experience, but I have probably 20 more (not exaggerating) just from Valentines Day!

But when he does manage to keep his eyes open.... They are open!

What the?!

Well I'm not exactly sure what happened but a couple days ago I woke up to see this huge scratch on my nose! It's kind of hard to see in this picture but it's rather large and fairly deep. I must have clawed myself in the night.... bad dream perhaps? And you would think I would wake up wouldn't you? Nope I slept right through it! So that was a lovely surprise this morning! I'm just hoping it doesn't leave too big of a scar.

Mellow Valentine's Day

We had a pretty low key Valentine's Day this year. Jesse spent most of the day helping move his sister, Vanessa and her family into their new house. Which means I got to spend most of the day holding a newborn! Once all that ended we decided we should probably at least do something... so we went to Nickelcade! As you can see by Jesse's face, it was pretty exciting!
Next we went to McDonald's because they have a Redbox right there and we got Mama Mia, but while we were there I decided that a mcflurry sounded pretty good! And it was!
Then we cuddled up on the couch and watched Mama Mia. I quite enjoyed it! There are some good songs on that show, but also some very strange ones....Then since Monday was President's Day, we decided to get ambitious and make some crepes! We haven't made them at all I think since we got married so that was a fun treat.

And that night we decided to make fried lemon chicken. It turned out delicious but sometime during the cooking of it, Jesse turned on the burner that had this plate sitting on it instead of the one he thought he was turning on. So we are now short one yellow plate!

New Nephew!

We got a new nephew yesterday! So exciting! Sorry I don't have any pictures but he is a beautiful little baby. Name is Drew Michael Croshaw and he's perfect! He has some dark hair, huge feet, and he sucks in his bottom lip! So cute!

Ashley + Brad = LOVE

Well we got to go down to St. George last weekend! It was awesome as usual and Ashley Potter and Brad Shelton got MARRIED!!! It was so fun to see them! They are just the perfect pair and we feel so blessed to know those two! Here's a few pictures of the occasion.

These are the individual shots of us on our way to the reception! Quality!

And we were lucky enough to see Haylee and Justin Caplin! Me and Haylee even match! Seriously what in the world.. we haven't seen each other in a couple months and we show up in the same outfit! We're awesome!

WE LOVE ASHLEY AND BRAD!!!
I thought her bouquet was GORGEOUS!
And Brad is just hilarious! They had donuts and hot chocolate as their refreshments! How awesome is that! This is him eating a donut.

RING IS FOUND!

Not to worry everyone we have found Jesse's ring. We felt like we had torn our house apart and could not find it for anything. Well a couple days ago Jesse lifted up my Sunday school manual and there it was! On our coffee table the whole time under a manual! We couldn't believe it had been there the whole time! But Jesse was pretty excited to find it! So you can all quit worrying... we're good to go!
