Jesse was traveling for work the last two weeks and I pretty much only took pictures on my phone so I could text them to him. In our two weeks I took about 340 pictures! Yes that's crazy but my kids are that ridiculous and cute. So while you think this is huge, I promised I sifted through so many more!
I am usually bad at posting phone pictures on our blog because it takes a little more effort but I didn't want to lose a lot of these, so here's how our two weeks went as the Three Musketeers.
We played outside.
{B}
We had picnics in the front room.
{I} {B}
We watched movies.
{B} and mama took selfies
The boys snuggled
{I} {B}
We found the best reading spot in the house
{B}
It's also the best spot for drawing.
We sat in things that were too small to be sat in.
{B} {I}
And wandered around the house in laundry baskets.
{B} {I}
Ate snacks and watched TV in bins.
{B} {I}
And of course snuggled some more.
{I} {B}
{B}
Of course we couldn't stay out of the sink
{I} {B}
Nor could we keep the floor clean.
If mama turned her head for a second this would happen
We discovered these shapes stick to the bathtub and oh boy was that awesome.
{B}
{I} was a shapes hoarder
We went to Sam's Club when it was darn cold outside.
{I} {B}
And of course we snuggled more once we got inside.
We even were so tired from one activity that we stayed asleep through a diaper change, and putting on a jacket and shoes for the next adventure.
{B}
At one point we had a 2319.
{B}
We played in a crib together and had the best time.

We played in the humidifier because everyone was sick the whole time.
Mama found a raspberry that either miraculously fell in this spot or was delicately placed there. We may never know.
We sure enjoyed all the boxes that have been strewn around our house.
{B} made this masterpiece while I was on a phone call with someone.
They are SO BIG
{B} {I}
This is my new favorite way to get dinner done. Give them a ball of yarn and let them go wild!
{I}
We had a bubble bath which is quite the treat. As if they didn't love baths enough, you add bubbles and it is magical.
Sometimes Briggs climbs back in to the tub with his diaper and blanket.
I kid you not, Ian stayed in the tub for an hour. Briggs got out, was diapered, wanted to get back in and was undiapered, played more, added more water, Briggs got out again, and Ian had to be pulled out after all the water had been drained and he was wrinkled and shivering.
We enjoyed family prayer, often times with Jesse via Google Hangouts.
Thanks technology!
We did lots of snuggling.
{I} enjoyed walking on the curb
{B} rocked some pretty great bedhead.
{B} thinks he's a gymnast.
I think he probably should be. The kid is killer strong.
I think he probably should be. The kid is killer strong.
We even got out of the house a few times.
{I} {B}
It was exhausting.
Elmo even joined {I} in the ball pit for some fun.
And he joined {B} for some quality conversation on the couch.
This here is the newest technique for keeping one child contained while I strap in the other one. It was quite effective despite it's unintentional beginning.
I even left the boys with a babysitter for a few hours to pack and treated myself to sushi.
It was heavenly.
We pretended we were super heroes.
{I} {B}
And that is hard work.
{B} {I}
We enjoyed a beautiful day at the park! The boys loved it.
{I in red, B in blue}
A mom of twins wears her running attire to the park because it is a workout to chase the hooligans around!
I wasn't getting any results when I asked my boys to stand by each other so I told them to snuggle and this is what I got! haha.
{B} {I}
We got new mustache jammies in honor of Movember.
The boys were adorable although they didn't particularly enjoy sitting down long enough for a picture.
{B} {I}
{I} found this perch one morning and would not leave.
{I} practiced hard to be able to balance a ball between two others.
He was so proud. I was pretty excited too.
Mama got some kisses from her boys.
{I}
We worked on our "grumpy" faces.
{I}
We all fit just perfectly on the couch.
{B} {I}
The boys do not love shoes.
{I} ran through a mud puddle before we got in the car so he was shoeless early on but {B} took of his sock and shoe en route home.
And once I got {B's} shoes back on, he was puddle jumping immediately.
They learned they could slide down the stairs on their bellies which has brought hours of entertainment.

We had fun with just the three of us, but we were sure glad to see Daddy's face again after those two weeks were over!
