Eight Months of Alba

1. She is a snuggler. Especially when she's tired. But sometimes she just randomly lays her head on your shoulder or she'll snuggle the boys feet on the floor. It's adorable.

2. She is little Miss Independent and sometimes it causes problems. For instance, for a couple of weeks in particular while she has been sick, she only wants to feed herself and clamps her lips closed when I try to feed her. Her dexterity is getting better with grabbing things such as puffs but she's obviously not great with a spoon. It has been rough trying to get her to eat. Plus she usually just wants the food off my plate instead of her baby food which is also hard since she still only has her two cute little teeth.

3. She just loves toys and playing. I plop her on the floor and she plays and plays. She's getting more specific with what she wants to play with too and will turn down the toys she doesn't want.

4. She thinks she's so big and loves to play and wrestle with the boys and daddy.

5. Her smile can melt us. She sticks out those bottom teeth and just grins.

6. She now says "Mama." Sometimes it's just babbling but she's said it on multiple occasions when I walk into the room or get close to her, so I feel like at least some of the time it's intentional.

7. She got signing time for Christmas and sits watching it enthralled. Of course so do the boys, so maybe we all loves signing time.

8. She has started to learn some fun tricks such as waving, high fives, and clapping.
