Six Months of Alba

1. She's 26 inches (68th percentile) and 19lbs 3oz (92nd percentile)

2. She's constantly up on all fours rocking back and forth and scooting backwards. She's finally figured out how to move forward ever so slightly and is working so hard at crawling. She's going to be there in no time.

3. She can push herself from a crawling position to sitting, although she's still not completely stable when sitting yet.

4. She has two little teeth buds that I can feel pushing up on the bottom. Nothing has popped through yet but she's definitely working on them and drooling all the time.

5. She's not a big fan of baby food. She's tried rice cereal, peas, carrots, sweet potatoes, and the tiniest bite of avocado. Sometimes she will stick out her tongue and I'll put some food on it and she'll play with it in her mouth, sometimes she'll actually open her mouth for a bite, and usually she clamps those lips together and doesn't let me get a bite in. Silly baby.

6. She loves playing on the floor and loves finding anything that can be a toy.

7. She is back to sleeping through the night or sometimes is up once.

8. She's started "dancing" by shaking her head and body. Sometimes when we are lucky she'll even do it when we ask.

9. She sucks her thumb when she's falling asleep or patiently waiting for food when she's really hungry.

10. She has started giving us kisses. She leans in with a wide open mouth and completely slimes you. And honestly, I don't mind one bit.

I'm not quite sure how 6 months has flown by so fast but we are sure grateful we have this sweet baby in our life!

She is still just the easiest baby to have around and we can't get enough of her cute smile, chubby thighs, and kissable cheeks.
