My {B} baby

I feel that since I've been working full time, our blog has just fallen by the wayside.
I miss documenting all the daily things the boys do. So I'd like to work on documenting the small things again, because I know those small things add up to the big things in my eyes.

{B} just being adorable after his bath.
I was supposed to work a night shift, but received a call that we were overstaffed and my shift was canceled
Of course I soaked up that extra time with my little loves.
This boy was just melting my heart with his cute little squeals of delight of being wrapped up in my arms.
Why do they have to grow up so fast?

California With Friends

We have friends who were road tripping to California for a weekend awhile ago and we might have invited ourselves. Well I think they wanted us to come too... but we might have crashed their weekend a little. But we did provide a suburban so we could road trip together so I'm going to say that counts for something.

Ok end of that story and on to the best part.

A weekend in California.
Just four adults and three hooligans and a whole suburban full of stuff!

We left St. George on Thursday night and we drove late into the night to make it to our hotel that night... errr morning, actually.
We did go on this weekend on a budget, so we shared a hotel room and set up our three pack n plays in any empty space and just enjoyed our time together.

That next morning we woke up at the crack of dawn and got ready for a day at Disneyland!

{I}

{B}

{B} had connections with Disney (as in he used to work there) so there was quite the welcoming cheer when our tram drove up to Disneyland! The magic had already begun and we weren't even inside yet!

My friend whipped up these cute shirts for all three boys that said "Best Day Ever."
And it really was.

The boys got their First Visit pins and off we went!

These three boys were so dang cute together.

Our whole little group!

The teacups were the highlight of the day. The boys went crazy over the adrenaline rush and we had to do the teacups twice right in a row!

Jesse and I did Star Tours and got the parent's pass so {B&A} could hop right on afterwards and while we were busy in line, they were brave and took all three boys on the Toy Story ride! We were so impressed!
(When it was our turn to play with the boys, we might have bought them churros and played with {H's} hat! haha)

I wanted to be cool like {H}

Everyone loved that our lunch was spent on the balcony above some ducks.

{B} (I think?!) was really digging the funnel cake.

This kid is so dang cute. My kids are such crazies and rarely look at the camera and he just looks at the camera and is always adorable. I might be a little jealous.

{B} took a nap so we snuck away and went on It's A Small World.

When {B} woke up, we went for a ride on the train.

I didn't give in and get them Micky ears, but I was so tempted after seeing how dang cute {I} looked in those ears!

These boys just love each other.
I love capturing these little moments when they sneak in hugs without any prompting from me.
How did we get so lucky?

Everyone but {B} wanted to go on the Merry Go Round, so off they went

And {B} worked on pulling the sword out of the stone.

The lines weren't too bad during the day, but there was a Halloween Party that was starting that night so the lines started to pick up towards the end of the day and the boys got a little bored. Thankfully this husband of mine is really good at entertaining our boys.

And sometimes they entertain themselves...

Random tid-bit about us.... we had our very first kiss in front of the castle at Disneyland during the fireworks show just over 8 years ago. So of course we had to stop in roughly the same spot and document the moment.

I still get butterflies when this man kisses me.

We ended the night with some glow sticks and headed out for some much needed sleep for everyone!

Yes it was the Best Day Ever.

The next morning we got up at a more reasonable hour and headed to the Aquarium of the Pacific

Every now and then the boys would mix things up and switch strollers.

That would really throw people off.

Of course these three boys were in heaven watching all the fish, sea lions, jellyfish, and everything else.

We let the boys wander through the gift shop and pick out a souvenir. It was really the first time we've let them pick out their own toys, and we just followed them around for a long time to see which toys they held on to for the longest time.
This giant shark and giant sting ray were the winners and they have been favorite toys ever since!

They kept roaring and trying to scare the fish with their new toys. It was kind of hilarious. And probably scared as many people as it did fish.

Jesse and I had just been talking about the awesome giant crabs that were in the Dallas World Aquarium and low and behold, this aquarium had them too! {I} was quite impressed with them!

The aquarium is right on the ocean so that was beautiful to walk out to.

That night {B&A} went to the wedding that sparked the whole weekend away, so Jesse and I were in charge of the three kiddos for the evening.
Fortunately our hotel was in the parking lot with a Dennys so we packed up the boys and went to Dennys for dinner.
We requested two adults, three highchairs, and a spot as far away from anyone else as possible.

With three random kids off the street, this might have been a nightmare, but with these three angel children it was a delightful dinner.
They even all requested the broccoli from my plate and ate every last tree I had.

After dinner we read books which was a hit.
I've decided I am better at speaking toddler than speaking with adults, so this is right up my alley.

And then it was rub-a-dub-dub three boys in the tub!

Sunday morning we woke up, ate breakfast, tried to keep the kiddos entertained long enough to pack up and we hit the road.

Thanks again for letting us crash your weekend!
We should do it again soon.
