Shut Up And Dance

I kind of am in love with the song Shut Up and Dance.
And I've brainwashed my kids to like it too.
I've played it for them occasionally and danced in the kitchen with them and we have a great time.
So it seems natural that when it comes on randomly in the car, they go crazy.

I can't help but giggle.

Also I might have been driving while I was taking this video so I totally wasn't watching what I was recording, I was simply guessing the positioning, hence the reason it's not perfect.

Giant Stuffed Animals

Sometimes you just need to snuggle some giant animals.
Of course I went weak in the knees watching how adorable they were and had to pull out my camera.

Just Because They Are Cute

Of course they were as loud as could be during church, but dang they look cute in stripes!

Fourth of July

I had to work on the 4th of July so my dad thought it would be a great idea for my family to come up and throw a 4th of July party with my extended family, and thus a party was born.

While I was at work, the boys spent most of the day jumping on the tramp.

And the family socialized.

I got off work at a decent time and joined in on some snapper action. The boys loved it!

And I couldn't believe how dirty those little boys were. It showed how much fun their day had been.

And after dinner, dessert, and time to get dark, we started some fireworks.

My parents stayed for the weekend and we had a blast.

I worked Saturday and Sunday so I had to enjoy Monday. My dad and I got up early to take my brother and his new wife to the airport to start their Honeymoon, so we ran to the store before everyone got up. We then cleaned my house, made freezer meals, and went for a walk.

The boys got a little antsy on our walk, so we started getting creative and I would run ahead with the boys and then turn around and run toward my parents who would look like this.

And then my boys would cover their eyes, get giggly and my parents would tickle them and they would just laugh hysterically!

It was a hoot.
Such a fun weekend with family!
