30 Days of Gratitude: 4. Cameras

I would not have been able to remember anything had I been born before the age of cameras.
Seriously.

My childhood?
I'm pretty sure I had one, only because I am alive today.
Nearly all of my childhood memories are based on pictures and videos.
I used to think this was odd but I've since learned this is a Dorius gene and am not alone in my situation.

I am grateful we got a nice camera before the kiddos came so I can go back and remember every detail of our lives while they were young. And I hope they can look back and see how much their daddy and I played with them, enjoyed them, kissed them, and adored them.

What Happens at Grandpa's...

Stays at Grandpa's.

Unless of course it doesn't.

And some things shouldn't.

30 Days of Gratitude: 3. Family

I am grateful for family.
They keep things entertaining, are always there for me, and are people I can look ridiculous with.

I love them.

And I married into quite the family.
We are so lucky to have such great families!

Hiking in Snow Canyon

While we were in Utah, we went hiking in Snow Canyon.
The boys loved it!

Jesse had Ian and I had Briggs.

The best part of the hike may have been the straps.
The boys were obsessed.

And this is the one time Briggs didn't have a binky in his mouth.

And there was only one or two episodes of puking.
Not too bad.

This is our shock that Briggs kept a binky in the entire hike.

30 Days of Gratitude: 2. The Babies

Of course I am grateful for the obvious.
These little boys are the light of my life.

{I}                        {B}

{Briggs}

{Ian}

Now that I've had babies, I want everyone to have one.

It really is the most amazing experience.

I laugh on a daily basis because of these boys.

They are so happy and sweet.

They give the best slobbery kisses and loves.

They smile easily.

They make me excited to get up in the morning.

I cannot believe we were blessed with two sweet babies. Our lives are so much better with these two in it!
