Grandma called and talked mom into taking us to Utah and oh boy did we have fun!
The plane ride to Vegas was kind of boring so we mostly slept but Ian did think the turbulence and landing felt funny so he made faces and snuggled mom. He also did some socializing with the couple sitting next to him.
We figured since we had been good travelers thus far and still had a two hour drive to go, it was time to shake things up. We both started screaming on the freeway so mom and grandma would stop, hold us, and feed us. In order to ensure a nice long stop, Ian thought it would be good to have a big blow out too.
That was a success. We ended up sitting in the parking lot of a Wendy's for over an hour while we both were fed, 3 dirty diapers were changed, and one set of clothes. Finally we had worn thin and needed our rest so we let them strap us back in and take a nap while they drove on to this "Grandma's House" they kept talking about.
We met all sorts of people, like Great Grandma Skalla...
Great Grandma and Grandpa Dorius...
And other people like Aunt Linda, Aunt Kerry & Uncle Mike and some cousins (technically mom's cousins but it's close enough), "Aunt" Ashley, some people at church, and later in the week our Rich side of the family!
Mom then proceeded to take about 500 pictures of us.
We of course needed some 4 generation pictures with each of us

And of both of us.
And then a group shot.
And then with Great Grandma Skalla...
And the next Grandma Great.
It went on and on but mom was lucky because we were outside, and we learned that we really like being outside!
This is our nearest cousin (once removed) on the Dorius side. She's about six months older than us!
She was rather fascinated with our heads.
We think it is pretty cool that our aunt and uncle are twins like us!
We LOVE being outside!
Everyone loved us.
And we loved everyone!
Oh mom...
We had our first trip to the lake!
It was so much fun laying outside on our blanket.
We had this sweet set up.
Mom busted out whatever moves she has left and wakeboarded and tubed.
It wore her out.
Uncle Brad looked like he hadn't taken two years off to serve a mission in Korea.
We were dragged to family pictures.
{Mom took all these pictures behind the scenes}
We caught up on sleep
Sat up in the chair.
Chit chatted with mom
And video chatted with daddy. Mom says he had to stay and work because he loves us.

Ian worked on his talents.
And then may have gotten distracted by this thumb...
Briggs preferred snuggling to showing Uncle Brad up on the piano.
And oh my goodness... bath time is still great even in Utah.
We even had this awesome mirror to check out our muscles
On a bit of a whim mom decided to cut her hair short. Now we can't hold on to it whenever we want anymore.

{After}
And after a week of fun it was time to say goodbye to St. George and make our journey north.
We went to Aunt Kylie's track meet and watched her run.

And after we watched her race it was back to the car to drive a little further and meet the Rich side!
There was SO MUCH LOVE when we arrived. We're pretty sure we were kissed and loved on by about 20 people.
We then stayed the night with Aunt Vanessa's family and flew back to Dallas with Vanessa and our cousin Faith who came and played with us for the weekend!
The shirt don't lie. Too. Much. Awesome.
