St. George

We went down to St. George when Alba was itty bitty to celebrate my little brother and sister who graduated from high school and then we stayed for a couple of weeks while Jesse did a work trip. It was so fun to spend time down there and enjoy the sunshine and family.
{I didn't even take a picture of the graduates, probably because I skipped out on graduation since my baby was all of two weeks old and watched it on YouTube instead. Which by the way is the only way to watch a graduation.}

{Ian thought he should be in my belly and Alba should be in his belly.}

{Ian wanted to feed Alba. He put on the cover and was convinced that she was being fed while she was under there.}

Dreamy little baby. This picture also cracks me up because she took this binky for a minute and hasn't taken a binky again.

{Briggs loves snuggling this sweet babe.}

{This baby loves being outside.}

{We went on a hike. The boys love grandma's hikes and Alba was loving the carrier.}

{They chased lizards the entire hike. Ian caught one at one point but it got away.}

We followed up our hike with a giant corndog

and snow cone.

{We also managed to find a dead lizard we named Bernie. And yes I'm a gross mom who let my kids bring home a dead lizard to play with. Luckily we lost him soon after.}

{We also found this tiny little praying mantis that was the cutest thing ever.}

{These two are so cute together. They just snuggle up on the couch and watch shows together.}

{We also squeezed in eye appointments with Uncle Mike. He was so patient with these busy boys of ours.}

{We played outside every day and loved the water.}

{These balloons are the greatest invention ever.}

{Ian wanted to try on my "long dress" and told me he was getting married too.
This kid is a crack up.}

{Alba met her great grandmother while we were there.}

{We went to a trampoline park with friends. The boys had a great time.}

{This is the best picture I could get of the three boys.}

{Snow cones might be my favorite summer thing.
Ian and I really pull off blue mouths.}

{More water fun.}

{They did some crafts. Or more accurately Briggs talked Carter into painting his alligator for him.}

{Grandma got some good snuggles in.}

{I took the boys to the Temple and they were pretty disappointed that they couldn't get in.}

{Grandma's bushes grow giant snakes "aka vacuum hoses."}

{And in between all of our fun activities, we stared at this cute little thing and basked in all her smiles!}

One Month of Alba

1. She has mastered smiling. This girl smiled basically from day one, but she's very interactive and will smile in response to you every time now. She is the most smiley baby I've ever seen.

2. Loves to eat and eats every 2 1/2- 3 hours around the clock.

3. She's moved up to 0-3 month clothes and size 1 diapers.

4. She does not like her diaper changed, especially when she's hungry.

5. She loves to be held and moving. She's a big fan of the swing.

6. She has a passport. And a couple of days after she turned one month she got a stamp in it.

7. She is a spoiled little thing and has been held for the majority of her life between me, grandma, aunt Taryn, and anyone else who can squeeze in a turn.

8. We only spent the first couple of weeks with her at our house before we packed up the car and went to St. George for nearly 3 weeks. She doesn't love her carseat but she has done really well with all of our traveling. She's already learning she has to be adaptable to be a part of this family.

9. The boys absolutely adore her. Briggs is constantly kissing her and they both sing to her, talk to her, and protect her fiercely. I frequently find them playing mama and baby lion (or whatever animal they choose that day) and they stay close to her and growl at anyone who comes close. She is well loved and has some sweet big brothers who will protect her for her entire life.

10. She loves to be swaddled and calms right down when we wrap her up

11. I am a milk machine and have already stocked up about 60 bags of breastmilk in the freezer and she continues to get chubbier and chubbier.

We are so enamored with this sweet little girl and love that she's in our family.

She tolerates so much!
Ian thought it would be a fun idea if he was in my "tummy" and she was in his.

This picture (and the 40 others just like it) was taken by Briggs and is very accurate of how I spend my days.

Ian saw me wearing Alba and asked if he could be a mama Kangeroo too. You just can't turn down a request like that!

First Sunday with all three kids.
