Brad & Taryn Sittin' In A Tree...

A week ago my brother got married and added a sweet new sister to our family!
We all absolutely love his new wife.

It was a perfectly beautiful, smoking hot day.

The morning began with a hair and make up party.

Oh and a dress steaming party.

Their Temple sealing was beautiful.
They promised to be married for their time here on Earth as well as for eternity after this life is over.
The room was full of family and close friends.
Love filled the room and some happy tears were shed.
It was absolutely perfect.

 While the adults were in the Temple, the children ran around in the 100 degree weather.

{My siblings are pretty cute.}

{Also, let the record show that my sister is wearing MY shirt that I picked out all on my own! Typically I am borrowing all of her clothes and any clothes I get compliments on is because my mom picked them out. But not this time!! Therefore, it must be duly noted. haha}

{And have changed a lot since the last wedding in our family 7 years ago!
I am not officially the shortest person in the family.}

{My boys just wanted to play in the rocks, dirt, trees, and bushes.}

{I figured since we were all dressed up this would be a great opportunity for a little family picture. But this is how pictures go with 2 year old twins.}

{Also you can imagine how well pictures went with these hooligans. I guess we will only know how it really went once they get their official pictures back.}

{After the ceremony, we had a delicious luncheon.}

{The food was delicious}

{I loved their center pieces. They were so pretty.}

{I missed recording the first part of my mom's speech but it was so cute so I'm glad I got what I did on video.}

{And Brad's follow up was darling. I'm pretty lucky to have him as a brother, and Taryn is a lucky girl.}

After the luncheon, we had a few hours to kill before the reception and we spent the time finishing up their wedding video, attempting to get our kids down for a nap, and sneaking out to see the movie "Inside Out."

We then reconvened at the reception later that night.

{My mom was a genius and bought the boys some trains to play with during the reception. It kept them entertained the entire time.}

{Taryn designed her own dress and her mom made it. They are so talented. Plus it had POCKETS! They are also geniuses.}

{Their first dance}

{And dance with their parents}

{And then there was a dance party}

{I don't know exactly what happened but somehow the bouquet ended up on the floor!}

{Ian pretty much wanted to play with his train right in the middle of anything that was going on.}
{Taryn's little niece is adorable}

And after the newlyweds raced away, the boys jumped off rocks, played more trains, ate snacks, and drove a golf cart.

{Briggs wanted to crawl around with his trains outside so off with his pants.}

{And we rewarded them with ice cream on our way home. They were such great boys.}

Congratulations Brad and Taryn! We are so excited for you two!

Brad & Taryn Engagements

My brother got married last week (more on that tomorrow) and I had the privilege of taking their engagement pictures.
Even though I really don't know what I'm doing, it was sure fun!

These two are sure perfect for each other.

{They have friendship bracelets. It's the cutest.}

I just love these two! They're a hoot.
Brad, you picked a winner!
