Thanksgiving 2014

It was a rather unconventional Thanksgiving this year.

We had Jesse's parents in town which was fun but since we are in the middle of packing up our apartment, things were in chaos.

We planned on celebrating Thanksgiving on Wednesday as I was scheduled to work Thanksgiving day. Jesse's dad wasn't feeling well so the rest of us went to Golden Corral for our Thanksgiving dinner which you can't argue, was delicious.

I got the privilege of sitting in the back seat smack dab between my two handsome littles. Of course I took full advantage of this by snapping approximately 100 pictures on our drive.

Afterward we dropped the boys off at a sitter's house, packed like fiends, then picked up the boys who went straight to bed and we watched the newest X-Men movie. It was a good day.

Thursday rolled around and I was put on call for work and never called in so we got an extra day! We packed a whole bunch more, enjoyed the Super Park, and gobbled up a delicious IHOP dinner. So as I said, rather unconventional, but delightful.

{B} took Mimi and Papa out on a leave gathering excursion while {I} kept playing at the park.

I can't get over how cute Briggs is standing down there peeking out the window! We tried it with both but Ian was heading off to play the instant we set him down.

We have been abundantly blessed!

We are so grateful for all the wonderful people in our lives and especially Jesse's parents for coming out to visit and help in so many ways this week.

We are also so grateful for the Gospel of Jesus Christ in our life and are blessed to be members of his restored church in these days. {You can find out more about our church here}
