Play Date

Jesse and I had a play date on Monday. It went something like this:

Vegas with the Doriuses

We were able to hang out in Vegas with my family for a few days and had a lot of fun doing it. We were mostly just lazy, laying out by the pool, playing video games, or sleeping, but these pictures highlight the more exciting parts! Gotta love vacations!

We discovered it's kind of hard to fit 7 people in a picture without someone else to take the picture!
We went to a Korean BBQ restaurant so Brad could get a taste of Korea before he heads there. It was delicious! He's pretty sure he's not going to starve.

Kadin was not a fan of the rice tea they served for dessert! haha!

Just pretend my dad's head is in this picture.... I seemed to have a hard time fitting everyone in and it was usually my dad's head that took one for the team.

Our hotel was designed to replicate Cancun, Mexico and this awesome pyramid had some slides going down the other side of it! Too fun.

Lagoon with the Riches

We had a blast! What more can be said? I married into one awesome family, with the CUTEST nieces and nephews... don't you think?

I'm tired already.

I'm realizing that with just 2 more weeks until school starts I still have a lot to do. It's amazing how even when you're not quite in school yet, it still controls your life. Here is my current list of to-dos before school:

- Buy school supplies
- Order textbooks
- Do the quizzes assigned before clinicals start
- Do reading assignments for the first day of class
- Get a new parking pass
- Choose which class I'm taking (I can't decide between a Monday nursing elective and a Wednesday night humanities class because clearly both sound thrilling.)
- Get new clinical shoes
- Finish last 10 hours of volunteering

Those are just my school to-dos. Then I also have my other misc. to-dos. Such as:

- Unload and reload dishwasher & clean kitchen
- Tackle huge mountain of laundry
- Find desk amongst papers and junk in spare room
- De-junk spare room and make it look presentable
- Organize closet
- Plan fun "last hurrah before school" date with Hubby
- Learn how to sew (nothing fancy. Maybe knowing how to turn on the machine would be good enough)
- Start/Finish summer crafty projects that Jesse and I talked about doing but haven't yet done
- Update blog

There's just too much to do. Why can't there be just one more month of summer?
